Celtics Friday

This team right now is incredible.

Last night, the Celtics came back from a 22 point deficit with a victory against the 76ers. They now lead the series 2-0. Some key contributors on the Celtics’ roster included Jayson Tatum, with 21 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Terry Rozier had with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Marcus Smart was the third highest point contributor with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Al Horford was a monster rebounder with 12 throughout the game.

As a reminder to my newer basketball fans, this is a conference semifinal match up. In the East, the Raptors face the Cavs and the 76ers face the Celtics. Once the Celtics win, they’ll face the winner of the Raptors/Cavs in the conference finals, and I’m hoping it’s the Raptors. I don’t want to lose to the Cavs, and the Raptors are a fun team to watch and they deserve it. After that, the winner of that match up will face the winner of the Western Conference Final winner. That series will be called the 2018 NBA Finals.

In this past week, I saw some fun Celtics supportive tweets, so here’s my top 3 from my timeline:

From my friend Carl, @VEKC18, “I’m officially against trading any of these young guys #CelticsVSBucks #CUsRise”

From my friend Nick, @nmather20, “Never seen so much fight and heart in a team”

And from me, “@FCHWPO please go on a date w me”. That’s Jaylen Brown, FYI. Anyone got any connections?

The Celtics and 76ers play again on tomorrow at 5pm in Philadelphia. Game 4 will be Monday, May 7 at 6pm in Philadelphia.
