A TD Garden Bruins Game Experience

Alright, I realize that the Bruin’s season is long over, but I feel that I must share with everyone my experience at game two of the Eastern Conference game the TD Garden (the Gahden if you’re from Boston) against Toronto.

First, we’re from Boston so naturally, we’re Bruins’ fans.

And being Boston fans, we were excited to be able to hear Rene Rancourt perform both national anthems one of the last time before he retired.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of cool intros. The Bruins intro? It did not disappoint, mostly because of the passing of the Bruins banner in the lower lodge section, a playoff tradition that started in 2009.

The game itself was LOUD and it was LOUD because it was an incredible game. The B’s dominated in the first period, got a little lazy in the second, and then came back to life in the third to win it.

Oh, and there was a Pastrňák hat trick too (in addition to his three assists). Hat tricks, my friends, are a lot of fun to witness in person. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that after it’s all said and done, those who paid $20-$40 only to throw it on the ice shortly after, well, a few of them had some regrets. LOL

If you’re a true Bruins fan, you know the Bruins Bar has a name, it’s Blade. Blade loves my husband. Seriously, Blade has managed to sneak up on my husband during every game we’ve ever gone to. I, of course, have pictures of the two of them together, but I’m not allowed to show them. You’ll just have to take my word for it!

Admittedly, until this season, it had been a long time since I was last at the TD Garden. Had I known about the improved food options, well, I would have saved a week’s worth of weight watchers points. Don’t get me wrong, that didn’t stop me, LOL. Unfortunately, it did prevent me from taking my own pictures but, the pizza? The Frito Lay Test Kitchen? Worth it!

All in all, we had a lot of fun during this game as well as the other two we went to this season.

Is it October yet?
