The Yankees bit off a little more than they could chew in the trolling department this week, and the Red Sox made them pay.
The tale-as-old-as-time feud between the teams was stoked in a big way after the Yankees beat the A’s to secure the American League wild card. Yankees fans were riding the high of their team’s path to the AL Division series against the Sox, and foolish decisions were made.

The trolling continued after the Yankees’ Game 2 win (their only W of the series) when Aaron Judge took the traditional victory playing of “New York, New York” into his own hands.

The Sox won 108 games this season. What could go wrong?
After a dramatic 16-1 win in Game 3 (in which Brock Holt hit for the cycle, a postseason first), the Sox managed to parlay the momentum into a Game 4 victory. Based on their postgame celebration music choice, it’s safe to say that the team noticed Judge’s act of trolling.

Genius.
You have to assume that Aaron Judge has learned a valuable lesson, but we won’t find out until next season because, ya know, the Yankees are out.
Look At This Very Good Boy
My heart is bursting at this video of a super excited pupper running out onto a soccer field in the Republic of Georgia to get himself some tummy rubs. It is endlessly wholesome and everything we need right now.
Sometimes, nice things DO happen.
The Drew Brees-A-Thon

At 3:30 a.m. these two men started walking 71,940 yards to honor Drew Brees, who needs just 201 pass yards tonight to become the NFL’s all-time leading passer.

The feat scored the duo a quick moment with Brees, who appeared to be rightfully impressed.
