James Harden on Fire (insert fire emoji)

Justin Ford/USA TODAY Sports: Harden has scored at least 40 points in nine of his past 12 games.

Mike Zavagno @MZavagno11:Harden has scored 57 or more points in 2 consecutive games. ZERO of his made shots in those two games were assisted. Not a single one

Me: He dropped 58 against the Nets, 57 against the Grizzlies, and 38 against the Magic. He averages 35.4 points per game.

On Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors blew out the Nuggets. The Warriors led in scoring in every quarter. The Warriors are first in the Western Conference with 31 wins and 14 losses and the Nuggets sit close behind in second with 29 wins and 14 losses.

DeMarcus Cousins Returns

After missing nearly a year of play due to his ruptured Achilles tendon, Cousins is BACK and he’s with the Warriors:

It’s almost like a punishment. You know when you were a kid and you get your favorite toy taken away for a certain amount of time? And, you know, once you finally get it back you just feel like you love it even more. So it’s kind of one of those feelings. And you know, once it’s in my hands, I’ll take care of it.

Cousins didn’t play in the Warrior’s match-up with the Nuggets on Tuesday or the Pelicans match-up yesterday, but he is on track to make his debut Friday against the Clippers.
