The Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm will play tonight, Tuesday; following the postponement of the first game of their semi-finals series in light of inconclusive coronavirus test results this past Sunday.

In a press release today, commissioner Cathy Engelbert confirmed that the three players whose tests were inconclusive, all on the Storm’s roster, “have all undergone extensive additional testing”. Two of the three players were cleared to play at the time of the release, while the third was still awaiting the results of her second test since Sunday as of earlier this afternoon.

“The health and safety of our staff continues to be our top priority,” wrote Engelbert, “We feel confident in moving forward with the Storm and Lynx taking the court for Game 1 of their Semifinals series. We are closely monitoring the situation and are coordinating with medical specialists.”

The Storm and Lynx will tip off tonight at 9PM ET, following Game 2 of the Las Vegas Aces, Connecticut Sun semi-final.
